Death Car
I had finally passed the driving test
and received my provisional license, meaning I could drive without a
parent in the car. My mom handed me the key to the old beat up family
minivan and said “It's all yours!” On the outside, I acted
excited. I finally had my license and a car that I could drive where
ever and whenever I wanted. But on the inside, I was dying. I thought
to myself, “What will my friends think? They have nice cars like
the Ford Focus and the Honda Accord. I'll be the laughing stock of
the century.”

who I am and what I call home
My name is Robert Brehm, but I like to
be called Robbie. I am a Junior in college, and currently a full time
student at UMBC. My favorite activities include running, playing
video games, and hanging out with friends. I was born in Jacksonville
Florida, but the place I call home is Olney Maryland. When I was
eight years old, my dad moved the family to Olney, and its where I
spent my childhood. I love Olney, because its a relatively small
town, so everyone in the community is really close to one another.
